World Yachts Trophies 2021: Results
On September 11, 2021, Cannes hosted the annual gala dinner with presentation of prestigious World Yachts Trophies, organized by the publisher of the Yachts France, Yachts Italia and Yachts Europe magazines. As one of the market trendsetters, Azimut Yachts and its new products traditionally attract a lot of attention from visitors and win in various categories. This year, 4 exquisite models of the Italian shipyard were awarded at once. Let us tell you which yachts received special attention from journalists, Owners and other members of the jury.
The Azimut 53 Fly won the award for best interior design in the 45 to 64 feet (13.70 to 19.50 m) category. An impressive interior volume, living area and galley on the main deck are almost on the same level, an extended sleeping area with two guest cabins and a spacious master cabin. Saloon with side windows without vertical pillars creates a sense of open space and opens a panoramic view of the water.

The Azimut 68 Fly won the award for best interior layout in the 64 to 80 feet (19.50 to 24 meters) category. Exteriors of the Azimut 68 were designed by Alberto Mancini. The award-winning interior layout was penned by renowned Roman Achille Salvagni, who provided three configurations of the main deck, depending on the needs and preferences of the Owner. Let us remind you that the 1st hull of Azimut 68, introduced at the boat show in Cannes, will be sent to its Owner in Russia right after the event. Even before the official release, the yacht was sold by Azimut Yachts Russia.

In the same size category, the new Magellano 66 won the best interior design award. Like its older siblings, the 66 feet model combines an exceptional level of comfort, versatility and privacy. A modern 20-meter cruising yacht with a stepless saloon. Stairs located on the side amidships lead to the lower deck, allowing the crew to service the vessel without disturbing the Owner and guests. The second-generation Dual Mode hull provides a smooth ride and outstanding stability, whether you're in displacement mode or cruising at a top speed of 23 knots.

Azimut Grande Trideck received the award for best interior design in the 98 to 164 feet category (30 to 60 meters). Trideck is the new flagship of Azimut Yachts and the first vessel of the shipyard with a raised aft main deck. On a 38-meter yacht you will find a 2 meters height full-fledged beach club with a total area of 30 square meters (including an open transom platform). The same Achille Salvagni rewarded the ship's interior with an impressive decor: the designer turns ordinary household items into works of art, skillfully alternating materials and colors of decoration.
