Boot Dusseldorf 2023
From 21 to 29 January 2023 Dusseldorf will host the world's largest pavilion boat show which will gather novelties from the yacht and water sports industries. The Boot Dusseldorf 2023 will take place in 17 halls, and about 1,200 companies have submitted their applications for participation. The event is set to become grandiose, especially after a long break due to restrictions of the past two years. Visitors will find the world yacht premieres, the latest achievements, expert speeches, as well as practical exercises.
For owners It is one of the best places to take a decision about the brand and model of the yacht for the upcoming season. The show in Dusseldorf is perfectly organized, there is a variety of hotels, both next to Messe and in the city center, which temporarily turns into a place of informal communication for everyone who is interested in yachting news.
Azimut Yachts will display four models at the show: Flybridge Azimut Fly 53 and Azimut Fly 78, the Magellano 66 crossover, and Azimut S7, which will make its debut.
We invite you to visit these yachts in person. Each of these models is not only an example of luxury but also technological perfection and iconic Italian design. Please fill in the visitor’s application form right below the article.
Dynamic and elegant, the Azimut Fly 53 is equipped with the IPS system, which, in tandem with the Volvo engine, provides the vessel with more internal volume, increased maneuverability, minimal noise and vibration levels, and maximum fuel efficiency (up to 25% economy compared to a shaft line: at a cruising speed of 27 knots, the cruising range is 265 nautical miles).
The yacht turned out to have impressive internal volumes, the living area and the kitchen on the main deck are almost on the same level, while the sleeping area was expanded, where two guest cabins and a spacious master cabin are located. The main challenge while designing the interior was to enhance the feeling of free movement in the cabin. The solution was found due to side windows, which, thanks to the absence of vertical pillars, create a feeling of open space and offer panoramic views.
The Azimut 53 catches the eye with its multifaceted exterior by Alberto Mancini, available in a variety of vibrant colors. Through a combination of expressive visuals, such as wide windows from bow to stern or a horizontal black line at the junction between the fly and superstructure, the designer has managed to give dynamics and elegance to the yacht's profile. The flybridge seems to float in the air, and its rounded outlines are inspired by classic car design.
There is no surprise that Fly 78 is one of the most desired models in its class, given the rare combination of the largest flybridge in the segment, exceptional performance, fuel economy, and a high level of privacy. But first things first.
The flybridge on Azimut 78 is an incredibly beautiful, cozy, and spacious area, where not only sofas and sunbeds can be placed, but also a bar with chairs or a jacuzzi can be installed. And even with such a workload, there will be plenty of room for movement and wide passages. Performance, fuel efficiency (up to 25% economy compared to classic shaft line), and unprecedented maneuverability are achieved with the innovative triple IPS system.
The location of the crew area in the bow and direct access to the crew quarters via the galley provides a high level of privacy for the owner. A separate side door for the crew appeared at the helm station, and the cockpit, as an additional option, provides for the installation of an electric curtain hiding the owner and guests from prying eyes and the scorching sun. This unconventional layout for this class provides an exceptional level of privacy.
The incredible tandem of designers Alberto Mancini and Achille Salvagni gave the yacht efficient and spectacular solutions in layout and design: large windows that fill the rooms with natural light; spacious kitchen with access to the crew area; exquisite design elements of the exterior, such as carbon roof rails and, finally, the overall futuristic design of the vessel with Mancini's lines style inherent in mega yachts. The minimum number of yacht manufacturers in this class can boast a similar level of exterior/interior design and attention to detail.

Magellano 66, like every model of this crossovers collection, was created for calm and long cruises in all weather conditions. The semi-displacement Dual Mode hull provides the yacht with optimum comfort throughout the entire speed range. Thanks to a pair of 850 hp engines, the yacht can reach a top speed of up to 24 knots, while a cruising speed is 19 knots. The layouts of the yacht are focused on exceptional privacy. The design of the main deck enhances the privacy of the guest area by completely isolating the galley and wheelhouse, which are accessed through a side door. The classically refined interiors are designed with the extra storage needed for long stays on board.
The novelty of the sports collection Azimut S7 is designed by Alberto Mancini, who penned the exterior, together with the Yachtique design company, which designed the interiors. The model reaches a top speed of 35 knots, while her cruising speed is 27 knots. Power and amazing maneuverability come from the triple Volvo IPS system with 800 hp engines. With outstanding dynamic performance, the yacht guarantees reduced fuel consumption (up to 20-30% reduction in fuel consumption and harmful emissions compared to a classic shaft) and a minimum level of noise and vibration. When designing the living areas, the main emphasis was made on smooth transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces, which allows the owner and guests to feel in complete harmony with the sea.
